Your resume — pasted as text, or uploaded as a PDF, Word file, or image. Optionally a job posting and a target career track, if you pick one.

Uploaded files are read in memory. Scanned PDFs and photos go through OCR on our server to pull the text out. Either way the file itself is never saved to disk, and it’s released as soon as the text has been extracted.

The extracted text is sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic’s API, which runs the Claude model that writes your analysis. That is the only place your resume leaves our server, and the only company other than us that sees it.

We use Anthropic’s commercial API, where the text you send is not used to train models. Anthropic publishes its own privacy terms at anthropic.com.

Here is the part worth reading carefully, because it’s the one exception to “nothing is kept”.

When your analysis finishes, the finished report is held in the server’s memory for up to an hour. It’s filed under a fingerprint of your resume text — a one-way hash, not the text itself.

The reason is on your side of the ledger: if you refresh the page, hit back, or click Analyze twice, you get the report you already ran instead of waiting for a second one — and it doesn’t spend another of your free analyses for the day.

The honest caveat: your report quotes lines from your resume word for word, because pointing at the exact line to fix is the entire point. So for that hour, those quoted lines sit in memory too.

It is memory and nothing else — never written to disk, capped at 500 reports, dropped after an hour, and wiped completely whenever the server restarts.

Analyses are capped at 2 per day. To count them we set a single cookie, rl_sid, holding a random ID that means nothing anywhere outside this app. We also keep a looser counter against your IP address, so one person can’t reset their allowance forever by clearing cookies.

Both counters live in memory on a rolling 24-hour window and disappear when the server restarts. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers anywhere on this site.

No accounts, no passwords, no logins. No database. We don’t sell, share, or publish your resume. We don’t send marketing email — we have no way to, since we never ask for your address.

There isn’t much to delete. The cached report expires on its own within the hour, and clearing your cookies drops the session ID. If you’d like confirmation in writing, email marcusxbryant1@gmail.com and you’ll get a reply from a person.

The effective date at the top changes whenever this page does. Material changes to what we keep, or for how long, will be described here rather than quietly reworded.
